James Weinbren
He was born near Johannesburg, South Africa in 1938. Graduated with B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1964. He then took up a teaching post at St John's College, Johannesburg. This was followed by a period in the UK from 1975 to 1980 in the audio-visual field producing educational and training programmes in Europe and the Middle East.
Since migrating to Australia in 1981 he has been teaching, painting and illustrating professionally in South Africa, the UK and Australia. He now resides in the United Kingdom.
